Why we're doing this
Named after the oldest word in any shop
बिक्री — bikri — is the Nepali word for selling. You've seen it painted on shutters in Asan, chalked on boards in New Road, printed in every receipt book in the country. We took it because it's honest about what we do.
We're building this because too much of what's sold online here is picked at random, photographed badly, and forgotten the moment it ships. So we're doing the slow version — a handful of things, each one opened and checked by hand before it's packed, and stood behind after it leaves us.
